I was on 50mg to start w/ and it never helped. Increased it to 100mg and I was still up all night. After 6 years I asked myself why I was still on it and removed it. Once it was gone, is when I slept better and realized my sweating was not hot flashes! I used Seroquel and that stopped the racing mind, but didnt work for sleep. What I am on now is Lamictal and PRN Xanax for sleep.[1mg daily, + 1mg more if bad insomnia].<BR/>Anyway, we all know it all works different for everyone, and just thought I'd give a few anecdotal stories.<BR/>I also understand that big hoop it is to jump through to attain services, I have mountains of paperwork re: my daughter. It's the same thing I take, that's why they prescribed it. The pDoc said since it's working for me it would be a logical place to start. The seroquel is just for mania, which is when I take it, not every day.
