To all my friends out there, a heartfelt apology. For some reason I am currently incapable of relationship building or maintenance. I'd like to get around to your blogs and leave comments. I'd like to return emails. I'd like to pick up the phone and call friends. But I can't, and I don't know why. It's not depression, or not exactly. It's not mania, or not exactly. Kind of a nasty mixed episode that is doing some strange things to me.
Thanks for being understanding.

Hey Sage - that's what friends are for. And I get more from your posts
than you know. It's like we draw strength and comfort from each
other's experiences.
Thanks for being there, and for being as fascinating as you are.
You're the kind of guy I'd love to sit down and have a few beers with
(or a few cups of coffee, depending on our collective frames of mind).
Maybe some day.
Dobro and Queen - thanks for your support. I know we understand what each other is going through, and at times it's that support that keeps us going. I'm going to try hard to make rounds sometime in the next few days.
Jon - if you don't stop by blogs and comment, I think that's okay! Just remember, I'm only guessing, why you started your blog in the first place. It's why I started mine. I wasn't trying to make any friends, or to get anyone to read it. Most of the time, I still don't - I have to have an outlet, and that's the only one I have. It's really about you getting out your thoughts, your feelings, your moods, and for introspection (retrospection?)...isn't that why you started blogging to begin with? Just be true to yourself....
I know exactly what you mean. It's sort of an anti-social feeling.
Jon - I'm so sorry you are struggling right now. Just hang in there please. You are a great inspiration to many. Sharla - I am in touch with the anti social feeling Sharla. Completely!
KS - thanks for your kind words, and I did originally start blogging because it was therapeutic. But be it right or wrong it's become so much more. You're right, the pressure to make rounds and comment is pressure I don't need right now.
Sharla - I really don't want to be anti-social, and I'm afraid that's how I'm appearing. I have a problem letting people into my space anyway, but that's a topic for another post.
Iowacorn - we're neighbors! I'm a Nebraska Cornhusker. I spent some time perusing your blog and very much enjoyed it. I like your picture gallery, and please tell your husband I agree with him completely: It IS the deer of a lifetime.
jon - on the deer... ok so it's a deer of a lifetime, but does it have to hang in my house?! Love your humor. Go Hawkeyes!
You and me both having weird mixed episodes. I'm actually kind of wondering if my nightly wine cooler is doing it. I just recently started drinking one or two a night (leftovers from a party). So I'm stopping as of tonight to see if that makes a difference.
Or maybe I'll just come out of it. At any rate I wish you good luck with your moods.
I like to think it is an unspoken agreement in this community that if a blog become quiet, the noise of that quiet is something we know and stay to support.
For the past three months I haven't gotten around to visit my friends either. It happens. Just know you still have friends out here.
Thanks so much for everyone who's jumped in with comments. It's very much appreciated!
Idea Magnet: Alcohol doesn't bother me, but I know it absolutely does some people. Hopefully you'll find the cause.
Sage - email sent. I hope things look up soon, my friend. I know they will.
Mom Interupted - that's a great way of looking at that. And you're right, when I don't hear from somebody for a while, I get very nervous. Which brings us to...
M12S - Long time! Really glad you checked in.
MAN I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL! I`M THE SAME WAY SOMETIMES,AND SOME PEOPLE JUST DON`T UNDERSTAND, BUT OUR TRUE FRIENDS DO SO IT`S ALL GOOD!
You really don't need to apologize. I'm the same way & totally understand. Remember, you are surrounded by LOTS of people just like you. It's kinda nice in a way.
