More Paradox

I'm way behind on emails, comments, and phone calls. If I owe you one, I'll catch up soon, I promise.

Yet another feather in the cap of bipolar paradox:
The less sleep I get, the more wired I become.

Hummmm....I have that same no sleep/wired thing happen from time to time. It only feels good for the first 3-4 days and then it starts becoming as irritating as all the people driving the speed limit when I'm in a hurry. The crash into depression at the other end can be a bit nasty too so I have stopped playing with fire. I've learned that if I TRUELY want to be healthy and productive in my life, I need to force sleep with higher doses of meds during the no sleep/wired times. Otherwise I just create chaos and pain for myself and those around me. I may miss the 'manic mondays' from weekend stupidity (playing with sleep patterns), but I don't miss the frazzled fridays knowing I just wasted another week of my life. If I'm not careful I might just get healthy...lol.

Pivot - I'll be writing a post based on this. Not your comment specifically, but will cover much of this.

Stacy - Thanks. I know you understand.

I am chilling out after nice long day at work ("nice" because, although it was 15 hours long, my experiments turned out quite lovely) and just got through answering your email.

Take care,
ariK
