Not Much To Report

I haven’t been posting much, as I really don’t have much to post. My health, both mental and physical, is great. I am stable, and enjoying life. I don’t want to turn this into a “what I did today” blog, not that there’s anything wrong with that, it’s just not my style. My son with bipolar disorder, Kyle, I haven’t seen for a few weeks, so I have nothing to report there. I’m sure he’s OK, he just gets self conscious and doesn’t come around when he can’t tell us something positive. I wish he would come around anyway, but that’s how it is. So, until I have something relevant to post…

It's okay that you don't have a ton to post...it's just nice that you still post something so that we all know that you're still around :)
I wanted to thank you for your very encouraging comment on my Jan. 25th post. It really helped a great deal.
Glad that things are going well for you! Take care.

I'm glad you're doing alright. Levi does the same thing as Kyle & I wish he'd just let me know he's okay. Obviously, they don't realize how much we worry. I hope you hear from Kyle soon & that all is well.

Glad you're ok.

I'm like Kyle too, hmmm, maybe worse. Often I don't call even if I do have something positive to report. Which is why I try to blog every day. ;)

I could totally understand how you feel...My Three older kids are on their own and even though they don't have Bipolar...I still worry about them and I wish they came around more, too:)

I think that kids get a taste of Freedom - away from their parents and they are enjoying their freedom right now..

But having THREE Daughters myself...I always say that when they have KIDS of their own...they will be here ALL the time!!

I try to enjoy the quietness right now...have four kids of my own...I know ONE day my house will be filled with grandkids:)

i am so happy for you! to be stable enough to write that you really just don't have much to say these days (WOW!!!)

seriously, that is so wonderful...and i know that you have worked hard for it!

i thought of you today, because i was strong enough to take a (very short) walk...actually yesterday and today!! :-)

it made me think of you and your wife.

it felt good to me. despite the recent physical health scare, my mental health is getting better...the walk was good...i am going to keep with it.

i know that you exercise daily....and that has helped you tremendously.

Wow - I don't check in for a few days and I'm overwhelmed with good thoughts. I love you folks!

Shebee - thanks for stopping by and saying that. I'm glad to hear things are goind well.

Jane - We did hear from Kyle, so he's OK, but like I suspected, depressed.

Amanda - Kyle wants to start writing, and I'd like to help him get started. But he doesn't have internet access lately. But I think it would help so much.

DW - you mean someday it will be quiet? I can't fathom that.

Dancer - That's great that you're able to exercise! It really makes a huge difference, doesn't it? Thanks for stopping by, and glad to hear things are turning around.

I am glad to hear you are doing well, Jon- your thoughts about your son are always heartening to me - I also enjoy reading the other posts on your site because many of them share the same situations as I do.

Thanks, Smythe. Many of us have a lot in common, more than we would think.
