Life Sentence

I'm not usually a fan of this type of story, but this got to me. Well written, the pain and emotion came through. I had tears running down my cheeks.

Jon, this could not have come at a better time for me. I buried a cousin this week--a victim of his own mind. I took me to that dark place again. This gripping piece helped remind me to not give up. Thank you for the post.

Oh my gosh, that's how I often feel.In a way, there are 2 types of "Life Sentences".

AM - Sorry to do that to you, and it had the same effect on me. I did love it, though.

bamagal - I'm so sorry about your cousin. What a touching post you made, I hope you don't mind me sharing the link to that post:

Stephany - I'm sorry about your pain. How true that is, that there is more than one type of "Life Sentence".

It scares me that someday, someone can be writing the same words about me. It's a reality check...one that I am afraid I won't be able to cash.

thank you for sharing this.

I have a friend, a blogger, who could benefit from hearing what her mother and daughter would feel if she were gone. On the same token, I don't want it to push the wrong way.

Thanks all for taking the time to comment, and sorry I didn't respond sooner.

Txandi - no problem, thanks for stopping by.

DD - I'm around. I've just checked in with one reason I've been tied up. Hope things are well for you.

CP - it caused me to think, also.

Princess - I understand, this would be a tough piece to share with someone in crisis. You never know on what side things will fall.
