Looking For Book Reviews

Hey All - for the LivingBipolar site, I'm looking for your book reviews. I know many fellow bloggers have written book reviews in the past, and I'm interested in using those reviews. Or if someone wants to write a review, I'd love to have it. In exchange I'll post a link to your site or blog, for example:

"Reviewed by Reviewer Name."

New books, old books, good books, bad books, positive, negative, I'm interested in any reviews. Long, short, it doesn't matter, as long as it's more than a sentence or two. If we get several reviews on a particular book, more the better. I'm in the process of writing up a several I've been sitting on for a while, so I'll be adding those shortly. I'd like the books page to be a good resource for people seeking answers.

I'm not good at writing book reviews, but these are the books dealing with depression and bipolar disorder that I would absolutely recomend: The Noonday Demon: An Atlas of Depression by Andrew Solomon, A Mood Apart
by Peter C. Whybrow, An Unquiet Mind and Night Falls Fast: Understanding Suicide by Kay Redfield Jamison, Darkness Visible: A Memoir of Madness
by William Styron, and Lincoln's Melancholy: How Depression Challenged a President and Fueled His Greatness
by Joshua Wolf Shenk

Great Jon...that was fast. You have a major typo at the beginning though---kinda like you cut and pasted one part of it twice or something.

I wish I felt motivated to do more...I have so many good books. I'll see if the spirit moves me.

Gianna - I'm in IT (information technology) for a living. We put the programs together, we don't test them. ;-)

This is corrected, and I'm embarrassed about missing something as obvious as that...

Depressive Manic - a great list. I'm working on adding those. If you ever review any of them, let me know and I'll add your name to them. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment. And if you ever want any help in getting your blog up and running, there's lots of people in the bipolar disorder "blogosphere" who would be happy to help out.
