After reading everyone's comments about my Sunday night "nightmare" I finally decided to call the Pdoc. He told me I should have called immediately that night. I guess I wasn't clear enough with him, there is NO WAY I was in any kind of condition to talk to ANYONE. I was way over the top. But that doesn't matter, he suspects the Depakote caused an adverse reaction, and told me to stop taking it.
Hopefully I won't experience that again.

good for you jon. i didn't realize that depakote could have an adverse reaction like that as i've not experienced it. i'm glad you took control of the situation. :)
Ah, like me and Ambien...
Gen - I didn't know ANY med could cause such a reaction.
Maggs - I read about you recent experience with Ambien. Sounds like something I would have done. Exactly.
I realize I am a few years late to this post but stubbled upon the blog tonight and have been catching up on your story. I must say be glad you had a good Pdoc. I had a similar reaction to Seroquil and Thorzine (seperatly but in the same wk) and after 4 days of trying to get my Pdoc on the phone her advice was to take more of it. Your story here is perfect evidence that I need to find a new Pdoc. Thanks for helping me come to this realization.
